Research shows that whole-body vibration (WBV) can help improve muscle strength and that it may help with weight loss when you also cut back on calories. And there have been clinical trials associating WBV with pain relief and increased flexibility in patients with knee pain, specifically from osteoarthritis.

WBV is done on a platform that vibrates, causing the entire body to vibrate. This has shown to increase blood flow, as well as lymphatic flow, thus oxygenating and detoxing the body. The results may not be immediately evident, but are noticeable after 2-4 treatments, and improvements continue from there.

A study done by Hindawi shows WBV to be an effective therapy for post stroke patients as it improves flexibility and balance, patients regain the ability to walk following a stroke.

WBV is thought to be beneficial to the brain.

15 minutes at a time on a WBV can burn up to 180 calories.
